Custom Design Scrapbook Service
Photo Preservation Specialist
Do you have photographs in boxes or in unsafe
magnetic albums,
that were passed down to you of generations past?
Are they still in developer's envelopes, or in a closet or attic?
Do you wonder who the faces in the photographs are?
Wonder what their day-to-day lives were like?
What made them special?
Will your children know?
Or will they remain as strangers in a box?
Is the number of photos you have waiting in boxes
too overwhelming?
Are you so tired after a long day's work,
running errands & tending to children, that your photos
and memories of today will one day be
among the strangers in that box?
Make the time now to preserve your photos.
Preserve those precious memories you're creating every day.
Take the time to tell the stories that make them special,
so that your future generation will know the
loving memories from their past.
So they will not sit to look at strangers left in a box and wonder.

what makes it a custom designed album?
Your pages will be designed unique to your photos, memorabilia, family quotes, favorites, words and/or your ideas. To customize your pages even further I can leave areas for you to journal in your own handwriting or I can incorporate what you have written about photos and your ideas into each page. If there is specific products you see in my web-store that you want to purchase from me to use in your Custom Designed Legacy Memory Album, feel free to either purchase them through the store or let me know what specific items you want used and I'll incorporate those products into your album.
Photos will be cropped/trimmed as needed to enhance the subject in the photo or to eliminate any excess background that distracts from the photo, and to fit into the layout of the style you've chosen or the layout I feel best displays your photos.
I do not accept any pornographic photos/materials . . .
how do I get started?
If you are local give me a call and we can set up a time for your
private
consultation to help you get started preserving your family legacy into the
highest quality memory albums available.
The following checklist can be used as a guide of what to bring/provide in our first meeting . . . If you're mailing me your photos and memorabilia, the checklist will help you send everything I will need to get your pages/album designed.
- Go through the photos you're wanting me to design your pages/albums for and sort them into 'event' groupings, chronological order, or by person; as well as any special memorabilia that goes with those photos. That will let you see what you have and make a reasonable guesstimate on how many pages you will need me to design. Page sizes available are 12x12 . . . 8x8 . . .6x6 . . . 8˝x11, the more photos/memorabilia the larger the page size you'll need; the number of photos per page will vary with the amount of cropping each photo can accept without losing any important elements. Looking through my Photo Gallery will help you determine how many photos will fit a particular page size.
- PLEASE, DO NOT send me your negatives, or undeveloped film. You must have any developing or resizing done before we begin the process. Send me the developed prints and keep your negatives in a safe place.
- Digital undeveloped photos--you can either send them to me from a developing site, email or call me for more information. You can email your photo images for me to develop for you, or you can mail your CD/DVD and I will take to my local developer for processing--there is an additional cost for having me develop your prints for you.
- Once you have your photos grouped you can see what size pages you'll be needing, so you can choose the appropriate sized album. Albums come in a variety of styles and textures. You can choose the album you want to purchase in the web-store, or note which style/color/size/manufacturer you want me to obtain for you, or if you have already purchased the album, I strongly suggest you sent it to ensure the layouts are sized to fit.
- If there is any particular layout design in the Photo Gallery or specific product from the web-store you want for a particular batch of photos you can make a note of the layout # from my gallery and place it with that batch of photos in an envelope or band them together. Use one envelope per batch of photos that will be used on one/two pages.
- Journaling - as your photos are batched/grouped you can make notes for your journaling if you're wanting me to include the journaling at the time I design the pages. If you want to add the journaling when you get the completed page, just make a note with approx size of journal spot you'll need. Any journaling you send me to include will be done from my computer since any handwritings in your album/pages should be unique to you and your family, if you send me your handwritten journaling with your photos I will trim what you send to include on the page, or email them to me noting which photo batch/page they will go on.
- Print out and completely fill in the Client Agreement/Contract to include with your project. As you read each line item place your initials where indicated. Initialing that you're read and understood the contract/agreement is to ensure that we both know what is expected of each other, with no surprises or disappointments later.
- Mail everything securely inside a zip-lock baggie or plastic wrap to ensure it doesn't get wet/damaged in transit from rain or snow in the appropriate shipping box from the carrier you will be shipping through . . . to the address on the Client Agreement/Contract along with your payment, or credit card payment authorization. I will email you a new invoice when I have completed the job for any additional payment if necessary.
- I strongly recommend, whether you use Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS . . . that you send everything --- Insured --- With Delivery Confirmation and Tracking abilities. I will immediately email or call you with confirmation that I received the package and the condition of your items. I can at that time give you an approximate completion date.
